Veni, Vidi, Vento

I attended a bridal shower at Vento, an Italian restaurant in the meatpacking district a few days ago. Over Bellinis and Mimosas we toasted the bride-to-be, and chowed down on Smoked Salmon Benedict and spinach & ricotta ravioli, among other delicacies. But the best part was seeing this beautiful, narrow, neo-Grecian style old factory building, originally built in 1849. There is nothing like Old New York!
