My Favorite Stupid Movies

After almost a week without electricty, thanks to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Irene (and more about that later...perhaps), I was ready to bring on some silly, and so went to see Horrible Bosses, Bad Teacher, and Our Idiot Brother in quick succession. Fine movies all, but no match for the following, IMHO:

• There's Something About Mary: In which Cameron D. refined her comedy chops by playing the only girl in the world who could possibly look good with sperm in her hair.
• Anchorman: Includes one of the nicest renditions of Afternoon Delight that you're ever gonna hear.
• Shanghai Noon: Like a Mad Magazine parody, chock-a-block with references to movie westerns of yore.
• Forgetting Sarah Marshall: to paraphrase the IMDB Boards, "Jason Segel looks like he would be the coolest guy in the world to hang with." Agreed.
• Wayne's World: "Party Time! Excellent!" Need I say more?
