Museum Day at the Library

Museum Day at the Library was fun, but I'm glad it's over! Among the museums represented: Old Westbury Gardens, Cradle of Aviation, the Gregory Museum, the Long Island Children's Museum, the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, Nassau County Museum of Art, and Garvies Point. Representatives from each museum gave presentations, and the staff decorated their respective areas in homage to the museums they were representing. In the evening the sixties cover band "The Rockinghams" performed for the staff and patrons. Now of course I can't get "Hang On, Sloopy" out of my head. Wheee (or Wii)!!
