Blogging with a cat in my lap

Well, I finally got so sick and tired of my poor old virus-ridden Windows PC (at the end it was even coughing up phlegm) that I went and bought myself an APPLE Book, complete with wireless router. For the first time ever, I am able to watch TV while blogging AND sharing chair space with the cat! As I have only been a MAC owner for all of about 20 minutes, am almost completely clueless as to how it works, but so far it's a thing of beauty and a joy forever!

Just a quick hello

Because I haven't blogged in a while, I felt it incumbent upon me to let you know that I am still alive and as well as could be expected!
In the past month I have:
Seen the Roundabout theatre's revival of Bye Bye Birdie on Broadway (with Gina Gershon channeling her inner Chita Rivera)
read the novel Juliet, Naked by Nick Hornby
seen the wonderful movie An Education (with a screenplay by Nick Hornby)!
gone to a work-related dinner and sat with the fabulous author (and Oprah Magazine books director), Sara Nelson
seen the amazing season finale of Mad Men (a show I'm just mad about)!
I hope to check in again sooner, rather than later!
